October 2025 Newsletter

October brings a full slate of arts in the valley— from a spooky (and hilarious) staging of The Addams Family at Timpanogos Valley Theater, to a Halloween-themed paint night at Inspiration Haven Art Studio—plus plenty more to round out your fall calendar. This month we’re shining our spotlight on singer-songwriter Christian Jones, a local artist whose music is rooted in honesty, connection, and storytelling.

For Christian, music began as a way to make sense of what he was feeling—it wasn’t just about the sound of the guitar, but the emotion behind it. Over time, songwriting became his way of processing the world, turning fleeting moments into songs that capture memory and meaning.

By day, Christian is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, and by night, he’s crafting songs that evoke the same honesty and connection that first drew him to music. Balancing a full-time profession with a music career is no small feat, but Christian has continued to grow as a songwriter and performer. One highlight was being featured on The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau, a milestone that affirmed his artistry on a larger stage.

Today, Christian is in the studio working on his next project, continuing to chase the feeling that first inspired him—finding the verses and chord combinations that connect with listeners and create lasting impressions.
