1980s Music – Community Contra Dance
Lace up your dancing shoes and tease your hairÑcontra dance goes full 1980s! ____
Join us for a high-energy community contra dance set to totally rad Õ80s-inspired tunes, spun by DJ Butterfly Cari.
Expect joyful dancing, neon vibes, and a costume contest celebrating all things leg warmers, big hair, glam, and retro flair.
Whether you come full Madonna, New Wave, or classic contra-with-a-twist, this is a night to dance like itÕs 1985!
If you can walk, you can contra dance! If you are laughing, you are doing it right!
6:30pm Ð 7:00pm: BeginnerÕs Workshop for 5yrs +
7:00pm Ð 9:00pm: 80’s Contra Dance for Adults and 5yrs +
5 years and up for BeginnerÕs Workshop and Contra Dance
$7 Admission for adults
$5 for students and under 12yrs
Babes in arms can be worn in a body carrier or ring sling

Carrie has been sharing the joy of contra dancing for 7 years in SLC, Logan, and Pocatello, Idaho. We start our dances with a beginnerÕs workshop and all dances are taught and are all beginner friendly.
