SUMMARY:Heber Valley Choir and Orchestra "American Folk Music"
DESCRIPTION:Join Heber Valley’s only choir and orchestra ensemble for an evening of “American Folk Music” at the Midway Town Hall on November 14 at 7 pm. Enjoy music from Dvorak’s ‘American Suite’\, & An American Rhapsody by Richard Meyer\, and featuring Rob Sorenson on Millionaire’s Hoedown. Choral numbers include Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal\, Turkey in the Straw\, Stephen Foster Tribute\, The Freedom Train\, and From Sea to Shining Sea. \nThis is a free community event. We will be taking donations for the Heber Valley Food Bank. Please consider making a donation of a non-perishable food item.

DESCRIPTION:FALL CONCERT\nThis exciting fall concert will feature the High Valley Singers\, a group of 16 adult singers who will present their favorite American music\, including classical\, folk\, spirituals and show tunes. \nAlso featured will the Szingerz! (pronounced “Zingers”)\, a new youth show choir who will surprise you with their enthusiasm and their excellent musical skills. \nA quartet from The Heber Valley Orchestra will play favorite American tunes. Mary Eckersley and Lorraine Branham will also solo for the event.  This will be a memorable experience celebrating the brilliant music\, in all genres\, written by Americans! \nTickets are $10 Adults\, $5 Children and can be purchased by clicking HERE!   Tickets can also be purchased at the door. \nThe Midway Town Hall is located at 145 West Main in Midway. There is plenty of free parking.
